Sanding, sanding, sanding the Dicenjir (sung to sailing, sailing...)
over 3 years ago – Mon, Oct 03, 2022 at 09:31:02 AM

As we move into October the Dicenjir are starting to come together, with the majority of the tops having their inlay finished and sanded.

The work on the attachment rings, caps for the bottom of the handles, and cutting out the display bases is presently being done. Then more sanding and prep for final assembly.

July update
over 3 years ago – Thu, Jul 21, 2022 at 07:04:18 AM

Greeting everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that by the middle of next week, the kits and assembled Dice Breakers will have been shipped out.  We have begun work on the Dicenjirs, and as I type, the CNC machine is cutting right along.

Where we stand
almost 4 years ago – Tue, Jun 07, 2022 at 11:21:41 AM

It has been a while since the last update and I want everyone to know that the Dice Hammer project got stalled (but not forgotten) due to moving the workshop to a larger facility.  It has taken longer than expected and we have been busy getting the space ready to resume building hammers. The equipment has finally all been moved and mostly set up (still some tweaking to what goes where).  So, once we finish rewiring the outlets to handle our equipment the project will get restarted.  Thank you for your patience and we should resume production next week.

DIY hammers starting to be released into the wild
about 4 years ago – Thu, Mar 24, 2022 at 12:07:56 AM

So we have begun sending out DIY kit pledges (as they are the easiest to do first).  They will start with basic kits then onto ones that had addons and such.  At the end of this update, a picture guide will be posted on how to assemble.   Once all the DIY kits are out then work on the Dicebreaker pledges will begin, followed by non-custom Dicenjr, and finally, custom Dicenjrs (which I have started designing and will contact people once preliminary design work is done) that will be worked on the whole time will be shipped.  We are moving to a new shop so some delays may happen as we move equipment. Now on to DIY madness...

A few tips for when you assemble your dice hammer.

- The joints are very tight so use glue sparingly.

- Paint or stain pieces before you assemble if you don't have a steady hand.

- The graphic discs have tape on them to help if you want to paint the design.

- If a piece breaks during the assembly we can send you a replacement, but if the piece is large you may have to pay to ship.

- you will need a rubber hammer to assemble along with white (or wood) glue and super glue.

- If you have a question let us know.

- So on to my crappy instructions...

- Oh and if you wait I will do a video when I assemble the first dice breaker for better clarity.
