Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to where the KS stands at this time. At the end of this week, we will be locking orders and charging cards on Backerkit. If you need to change your delivery address after that email me at: [email protected] or message me on KS. We are still waiting on some supplies for the build process of the non-custom Dicebreakers and Dicenjrs. Once we have everything we will begin building the hammers and processing orders.

***Very important Update***

This will be a very long update with information you will need to know going into your surveys. There is information for everyone so please go all the way to the end. I will put bold labels to listwho the information is relevant to (so you can skip over if it does not matter to your pledge level or if you got the add-on)
Surveys will be going out soon, and I want to let everyone know the steps from the very beginning to when you receive your glorious hammer in the mail. I have learned a lot from my previous Kickstarter and plan to implement it into the production of your hammers.
Once Kickstarter releases the funds from your pledges, I will send out the Backerkit surveys. This will allow you to personalize your hammer and add on any extras you may want. If all goes well the majority of you will have your surveys done two weeks after that. Then the purchasing of supplies and building of jigs can happen. I will also begin contacting all of the backers who pledged customized Dicenjir and working with them on how they want their hammers to look. This stage should take a month but possibly two (due to potential delays caused by covid, natural disaster, a plague of mutant guinea pigs, etc...). Barring any delays, I will start up the laser, CNC machines, and 3D printers beginning to produce the parts for both the Dicebreakers and the Dicenjirs. Again baring any extraneous anomalies this should take about a month or two. While this is happening we will send out any that get done as they get done. Backers with Kits only will be the easiest and the fastest and probably see theirs first, then backers with assembled Dicebreakers (and kits if ordered), and finally the Dicenjirs due to the extra work that will need to go into them. If all goes well everyone will see their hammers much, much sooner than December 2022. Now onto individualized information...
Custom Dicenjir pledges
After the surveys, I will be sending you an email that shows you the various wood types available for your hammers and begin scheduling consultations for the initial step of the design process. We will be doing the video conferences on Discord, if that is not possible then we will work something out.
Dicenjir pledges
Also to help those getting Dicenjirs I have done a mock-up board to show the different options in resin and inlay flush with the cherry wood. An add-on will be available to have your wood inlay recessed like the one I used to showcase the Dicenjir.
Flush inlays
recessed inlay
Dicebreakers (DIY,assembled, and add-ons)
Your surveys will just have the names of the different disc graphics, handle material, and frame types. Because of this, I have created the picture guides below to help you see what designs go with names.
Kickstarter add-on orders only
There were some minor issues in how Backerkit handles the add-ons from Kickstarter and you will need to fill out a textbox for your selections (you will not get drop-down menus for your selections).
Dice Tray add-on
I have created the prototype for the dice tray (minus the way I will be making it connectable to the display stand). Couple of things to note about it, one the bottom of the tray will be of matching plywood (only had oak plywood for the bottom of the cherry prototype), two if the design can not be done with wood inlay then I will use black resin to fill in laser engraving, finally the dice tray will be given a polyurethane coating to protect against metal and stone dice marring the wood. If you are curious about the maple tray wood inlay it is burl walnut.
European customers
Now onto my European friends and the evil VAT lurking in the corner. I will contact each of you via email to discuss what I will be doing to control the cost of this for you.
Thank you backers

It’s official; the Dice Hammer campaign has ended and, thanks to your support, is now a reality! A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.
Here's a quick rundown:
First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so the money is available to make the rewards (this can take up to two weeks).
Next, you’ll receive a survey to confirm your order details. You’ll be able to specify add-ons, customize your Dice Hammers by choosing the options you want, etc., as well as confirm your shipping address, and contact information. The survey will be sent through BackerKit, and we’ll give you a heads-up before we send it.
The BackerKit invitation email will be sent to the email you’ve been receiving these updates on and will contain a link to your survey. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. It is, however, important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards. Have an alternate email you’d prefer we use? Just let us know.
If you need to change your survey responses, decide to purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.) Everything will be confirmed once more before we ship so don’t worry if you need to make a change.
If you have any trouble filling out your survey through BackerKit, you can contact us directly.
Again, thanks for all your support. We can’t wait to send you your Dice Hammer, because as the dice fall so do your enemies!

Well, things are looking great as the Dice Hammer campaign begins to wind down. We have hit the $9000 mark adding two additional colors to the Dicenjir's resin choices and optional inlay work for the Dicebreaker. In addition, we will be offering an add-on dice tray that will match your hammer's wood and graphic design on the Backerkit survey for $50. A couple of keynotes on that:
If you ordered a Dicebreaker, the dice tray will be crafted out of 1/4" hard maple (not 1/8" baltic birch plywood)
The tray will attach to the Dicenjir's display stand
The tray size will be approximately 6" x 11"
If you pledged for a Dicebreaker and would like the display stand, you will be able to add it on for $20 (will be made out of hard maple) on the Backerkit survey.
Finally, we will be offering a free option to upgrade the graphic discs for the Dicebreaker hammers to be made out of 1/4" hard maple to create a 3D effect similar to the top part of the Dicenjir.
